1982
  • Established at Tokyo, Japan. Consultant to Intel.
1984
  • Entered into agency agreement with Bridge Communications (currently 3Com) in the United States, began sales of LAN products.
1986
  • Established business collaboration with Silicon Compilers Incorporated in the United States, began sales of semiconductor design CAD software.
1989
  • Jointly established Silicon Compiler Systems Japan with Silicon Compilers Incorporated of the United States.
  • Successfully bid on a medium-speed small-core coaxial internal communication system for NTT.
  • Established 3Com-Soliton jointly with 3Com of the United States for the purpose of developing a Japanese version of LAN Manager.
1990
  • Developed a LAN operating system, 3+Open LAN Manager, and began sales.
  • Opened Osaka business office.
  • Business tie-up with Chipcom.
1991
  • Developed Soliton Japanese TCP V1.1, began sales.
  • Business tie-up with Compass Design.
1992
  • Began sales of ISDN compatible router.
  • Entered into general sales agency agreement with Model Technology.
1993
  • Began sales of Windows compatible SNMP manager.
  • Opened network-testing center.
1995
  • Opened Makuhari Office (at Makuhari Techno Garden).
  • Opened Yamagata business office.
  • Established Solitron Technologies Inc. in California.
  • Business tie-up with Shiva, began sales of LanRover.

1997
  • Began sales of Notes add-on software.
  • Developed Soliton C-Gate IC card certification and Soliton SecurityGate integrated access control, began sales.
  • Developed e-Care integrated management software, began sales.
1998
  • Shanghai office opened.
  • Yamagata sales office opened.
  • SDSL Router Soliton2200 adopted by the Shikoku Information and Telecommunication Network Company, Incorporated STCN service.
1999
  • Nagoya sales office opened.
  • Sales begin of Zeus-made radio transceiver for wireless telemetry.
  • VoIP Solphone developed and sold, supplied OEM to Ericsson.
  • Solitron Technologies, Inc. changed its name into Soliton Systems, Inc.
2000
  • Solphone Inc. established to specialize in VoIP product development.
  • Soliton WebGate web environment-compatible user certification and access control software developed.
